That's why we built Casebyte: to make research precise, structured, and comprehensive.

We are a small, driven team who love using technology to tackle hard problems. In August 2025, we launched Casebyte 1.0. In five months, it evolved from slow searches and mismatched citations into a tool built on rigorous thinking and structured analysis. Along the way, we spoke with over 100 lawyers in Hong Kong. We learnt from their sleepless nights, frustrations with traditional workflows, and relentless pursuit of precision.

That's how Casebyte was born: rooted in reflection, and fueled by curiosity. It incorporates practical insights and real-world workflows. We overhauled the entire database, mapped relationships between cases horizontally, and tracked appeal histories vertically. By turning these connections into a multilayered network, Casebyte reveals patterns and links authorities. Paragraph-level citations reduce hallucinations, letting you verify every statement yourself. Ultimately, it removes noise and keeps you focused on what truly matters.
